Tiger Racing was formed back in 1989 and produces several different models of road and race performance cars.
Tiger sports cars have been featured many times on TV but its most significant moment to date was when it appeared on Channel 5's Fifth Gear and Tiff Needell drove their Z100 model to record the fastest 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds.
Tigers are renowned throughout the kit car industry as producers of superb handling cars and have a very extensive customer support network.
Our particular Tiger is a Cat E1 which is probably one of the most popular kit cars around.
It is fitted with a 1600 Toyota Twin Cam and running on twin 40's which were recently rejetted and retuned to 150bhp.
The beauty of this car is, not only is it quick but it is just as smooth pottering around the lower rev band. It is also fitted with a Ford Cosworth limited slip diff and has disc brakes all round.
Other work that has recently been completed is a new timing belt and rolling road tune up, a new water pump and brand new alloy wheels and tyres.
It
is complimented with full wet weather
gear including spats and has a stylishly chromed luggage
rack.
With comfortable and adjustable Tiger embossed seats and four point harnesses this car is fabulous fun.
